My Projects

Each of my projects explores a different area of design from interactive packaging and illustration, to educational and promotional work. Although the outcomes vary, they are all connected through the idea of storytelling, playful visuals and creating more engaging experiences for people through design.

Major Project- Fairytale Interactive Design

For my University Major Project, I designed an interactive packaging concept aimed at children, inspired by fairytale storybooks and immersive storytelling. The packaging contained 3D glasses and a visual experiences, one using a traditional 3D effect and another using layered imagery where separate visuals could be seen through each lens.

Alongside this, I created instructional inserts to guide the interaction and make the outcome feel more realistic and complete. Through illustration, colour and experimental image layering, I wanted the project to feel playful, immersive and experience based rather than simply functioning as standard packaging design.

Squirrels Rebrand

This project focused on rebranding the after school club at Whitehouse Common Primary School from “Happy Hometime Club” to “Squirrels”. I explored a range of illustrated squirrel characters, logo layouts and supporting elements such as leaves, branches and acorns to create a playful and welcoming identity aimed at younger children, whilst keeping in line with the schools identity.

Throughout the project, I experimented with both detailed illustrations and simplified logo forms to ensure the branding could work across different applications while still remaining recognisable. I also incorporated the school colours throughout the designs so the final outcomes still felt connected to the school’s existing identity.

Educational materials

For this project, I created a series of educational materials for Whitehouse Common Primary School based around their school virtues and “50 Opportunities” initiative. The aim was to present the information in a more engaging and visually accessible way for students through the use of illustration, colour and layout.

I explored how design could make educational content feel more interactive and approachable while still communicating the information clearly. As the materials were intended for a real school environment, I also considered how the designs would function across different formats and spaces while remaining consistent and engaging for younger audiences.
